Information You Submit
Text entered into a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Information Logged Automatically
Standard hosting logs can record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate log data helps maintain the service and shows which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Collected Data
Collected data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Government portals, Los Angeles County and California offices, library collections, and outside search tools follow their own privacy terms. Information sent to one of those sites is controlled by that site's policy. Sponsored search results are supplied by a third party and operate under that provider's rules.
Parties That Process Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
Our Data Safeguards
The site is served over an encrypted connection. We retain server logs only as long as needed for the purposes above. Because we do not run accounts, there is no password or profile of yours to breach on this site.
Users Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
California Privacy Choices
California privacy law may provide rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held by a business. The California Privacy Protection Agency also administers the state's data-broker and Delete Act programs. Because we retain very little, a request usually involves checking contact messages and server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records kept by La Cañada Flintridge, Los Angeles County, or California agencies remain under the control of those custodians, so correction or removal requests must go to the proper office.
Policy Revisions
Any revised policy will appear here. Using the service after a revision signifies acceptance of the updated terms.
